location as i come from Dyce and live in Asia. Nice friendly staff
Room didn't get cleaned for my for my first stay but once speaking to management got this resolved.
-
Location, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast
Dated in need of modernisation
-
We felt cosy here!
The room was good sized and the breakfast was gorgeous, a huge variety of options. A double bed was a bonus. It was a short way from Dyce city centre.
-
Staff very helpful and effecient, good clean room which was excellent value for the money.
-
I was impressed by the upgrades that Menzies have made to what is quite an old hotel. Impressed by the staff.
The cooked breakfast was getting cold. The buffet breakfast is common in most hotels now, and continues to dissappoint. It works fine for cold food, continental style, but the "Great Bristish Breakfast" looks a bit feeble if it is not cooked to order.Fried eggs were cold and rubbery, sausages were getting cold, beans were drying out and in short supply, hash browns were soggy.
-
The comfort of the room and standard of cleanliness. The variety of food provided plus early breakfast times.
-
Initially i had a problem on arrival very late at night with my booking, but this was quickly resolved with the person at the reception desk, who i found to be very helpful and well mannered. Although i stayed only one night the room was comfortable. I had a good breakfast and the restaurant staff where also very helpful and polite
Kept a wake a bit by the noise from the heating system
-
Friendly staff and supervisor, especially in resturaunt.
-
Quick check in, close to heliport and can get a smokking room
-
Mistake in airport location.
-
This overnight night stay was extremely comfortable. Cost of stay for bed and breakfast was indeed value for money. Travel to city centre was easy and did not take long. For anyone using railway to travel North to Inverness or South via Aberdeen - or if flying from Dyce, this hotel is ideally situated.
-
Location in Dyce well suited to needs, space and room facilities generous. Pleasant and efficient staff.
Decor and layout of common / public areas bland and drab. Available light levels in room low and insufficient for tasking. Unfortunately - stay was marred due to the lack of hot water in the room.
-
We thought the staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was immaculate, nicely decorated. Food was of a very high standard. Overall a very good stay, and would use again.
The only downside was the bar prices. £3.80 for a can of Guiness is a bit like highway robbery when you can buy a 4 pack for between £4 & £5
-
Spacious, Location, Breakfast, Taxi service, Room sizes.
How to aquire Meals in the bar is unclear, Meal times at evening dinner was unclear also, i noticed quite a few people having to ask. Far to many people hanginig around reception area with bags for far to long, bags everywhere, no room to move in this area. Smokers smoking immediately outside the front door, there is no smoking area/shelter outside for the smokers.

Although the exterior was concrete and very grey and rundown the rooms. Lounge and dining were well kept and of a higher standard than was expected for a hotel of this type. Staff were hard working and had an excellent manner with customers- prepared to go the extra mile to help .
